Playing CDs thru DVD

Here's a good one!!!

Start with a car having i-drive + DVD Option + HiFi Pro.

Play a CD thru the central CD slot and the car's computer recognises and names the track-titles on-screen. FINE.

Put the SAME CD into the DVD player and (9 times out of 10) it does NOT recognise the titles. It plays them but if the CD is 'old' (say more than 5 yrs) it cannot recognise the titles....WEIRD.

Anyone else found this?????

same here. I think they just went cheap on the charger...
