Lightbulb The *OFFICIAL* Which Cell Phone You Got/Want?

I've been a Samsung fan for years but for the last year have used a HTC EVO 4G LTE. And all I can say is WOW! What an incredible device!
The screen and PQ is gorgeous, great sound quality (beats audio) solid call quality, super fast, and best of all... terrific Battery Life! What's NOT to love.
I typically change devices about every year or so. I definitely prefer the ANDROID OS vs iOS (not knocking Apple!) so naturally, I've decided to grab the new HTC One: http://www.htc.com/www/smartphones/htc-one/

Quote:
HTC Zoe™: Your photo gallery brought to life.

Capturing a moment takes more than one image. That’s why the new HTC One includes the HTC UltraPixel Camera. Press the shutter and the HTC One automatically captures up to 20 photos and a 3-second video—a picture that’s alive. So your entire photo album becomes a living, breathing gallery.

HTC BoomSound™: Sharper, richer, louder.

On the average smartphone, sharing music or a video with friends is a frustrating experience. A tiny speaker will tame even the most ferocious track. But the new HTC One's BoomSound™ changes all that. Dual frontal stereo speakers powered by built-in amplifiers deliver bigger sound with less distortion and more detail.

HTC BlinkFeed™. Your live home screen.

With HTC BlinkFeed™, simply pick the social networks, news and feeds you want to stay updated on and they'll all stream live to your home screen. The pulse of your world is in the palm of your hand.

Refined design. Rugged build. Inspired results.

Full metal body. Zero gap construction. And tapered edges that offer a slim but satisfying grip. The new HTC One is phone design that doesn’t compromise.

Create Your Own Video Highlight.

HTC Video Highlights automatically selects the highlights of an event to craft a stunning 30-second show. No fancy software or skills needed. Choose from great music themes to add to the effect. Change the sequences if you want. Then release your life movie right away, with one-press sharing for everyone to enjoy.

Your interactive TV guide.

Tired of remotes taking up valuable couch space? The new HTC One is ready to help you channel surf. With Sense TV, all it takes is a few simple steps and you’ll be able to select TV channels, access program guides, adjust audio and more with your HTC One. Find your favorite shows, and it will notify you when they’re on. Take control of your TV experience with your phone.

Sense Voice: Call clarity—even in a crowd.

The world doesn’t include a volume knob. So talking on the phone in any loud, crowded environment can be a challenge. The new HTC One solves that problem with Sense Voice. It includes dual built-in microphones that detect loud ambient noise and will then dynamically boost the in-call voice to compensate. Hurrah for clarity.

I just got an S4 and so far I like it. I had an HTC thunderbolt before. So it was a nice upgrade.

iPhone 5 for me. Other phones are too big IMO and are annoying to carry around.

I do really like the htc one . That might be my next phone.

Yeah, I remember at one time they were making phones smaller. I wish I can find me an original nokia 8800 from my youth. but for now I'll stick with the iphone 5

I read where the next iPhone will be offered in not only different screen sizes (as large as 5in) but multiple colors. So that's pretty cool.
I just love the open platform and flexibility of Android. And as far as size... Once you surf and watch videos or even movies or sporting events on a larger screen size like Galaxy S or HTC... All else is puny and lacking.
The only thing that I dislike about the Sammys now is the plasticky hollow feel. But you can NOT sleep on the screen and PQ of any Samsung. That is their forte'!

iPhone 5. I love the customization you get with android, but I would miss having the simplicity that comes with iOS. iOS7 looks great, I can't wait for that.

If I was to switch, I'd get the HTC one.. That phone is probably one of the best phones I've seen. The S4 is just big and feels cheap

Shocked this hasn't turned into a pissing match yet...

Anyway, I just switched from the iPhone 5 to the Galaxy S4. I wanted a change of pace and got it. As to the size issue, my S4 is currently the exact same dimensions (just a little thinner) than my fiance's iPhone 5 with her case on it. She has an Otter but she's got the smaller, traveller Otter case, so it's not the biggest Otter out there, but not as sleek as some of the other cases out there either. I also have a slim case on my S4 (the one that has the flip cover), so it's not very well protected, but so far so good. I'm sure if I put a big case on my S4 it'd be massive and that might be an issue.

Have Samsung S3.... As for next one, either the S4 or the HTC One. The HTC looks mighty fine!

Thumbs up

It arrived yesterday and all I can say is WOW... I have been extremely impressed with my current EVO 4G LTE but this ONE is on another whole level!

It is ultra-thin!!! Yet it feels significant. Meaning far from cheap! Those dual speakers...
This is easily the most "significant cellular device available". Meaning: Overall everything! And the speed...
Can't wait to root it...

I use the Razr Maxx for battery life. I can go days without charging it. As a systems engineer I am on the phone and using 4g all day. It just never dies.
