True Blood Season 6

Just finished watching the 2nd episode of the season. I've been a huge fan of the show, but it's just becoming a little ridiculous. Probably a good thing that's it's ending this year. Anybody feel the same way?

Ha! My wife and I enjoyed watching TB every Sunday night since the first episode aired. She stopped watching half way through last years season for the same thing you just mentioned. I'm still watching. However, I have to agree with you and my wife. It has gotten pretty silly. I mean, it was a great show when it was just vamps. But now you have werewolves, shape shifters, fairys, hybrid fairys, witches, were panthers, telepaths, elves, britlingens, demons...you get the idea.

Yes, ridiculous.

I still enjoy it... Most shows get a little weird after awhile. It's still entertaining to me.

hard to tell how this season will be since it's just starting out - but season 5 just was just plain terrible. The set-up at the finale for season 4 made it look amazing but it just disintegrated into something awful. I hope they can pull out of that nosedive for S6. Can't wait for dexter and breaking bad!

I agree it's definitely getting out there. As soon as Bill flew away in s6e1 I said "Wow, this is too crazy now" All shows start to pull crazy stunts when they're on their last legs. Even Dexter - ending this year too - every either knows or is dead now it seems...

Back to True Blood: has anyone read the source material? How close is the show to that?

Yes! So bummed both these shows are ending.

Walking Dead is amazing and always has you on the edge since nobody is safe. Same goes for Game of Thrones which is incredible to watch.

I still dont understand the Billith arc. It may sound dumb, but I dont get his character's motivation. Its just all really confusing.
