might want to invest in some tires as I can tell you the stock ones has quite a bit of trouble putting the power down on a 35iS. The Cobb will push power past a stock 35iS and will be annoyed not being able to put the power down consistently

It currently has brand new Kuhmo tires on it but when they go I will be picking up some Michelin Pilot Super Sports.

Would like to hear the milltek once you put put on the AR DP. I have the catless AR and still wonder if adding an exhaust would make the car sound way too loud (obnoxious like a straight pipe) or just more exotic (or bassy). Sound clip please. =)

Thought I'd bump this. We're on the brink of bringing home a new 35i and I have my eye on the Milltek exhaust. (Trying to decide between the Milltek and Eisenmann.) I may put a pair of AR downpipes on there someday, but don't want it to get too outrageous. I'd be interested to hear what you think of the Milltek + AR downpipes.

Great choices in mods. I have KW v3s on my Mini Countryman (R60) and love them. They would be on the short list of "must-dos" on the 35i. Are you able to adjust the rebound on the rear struts without physically removing them from the car? That is one bummer about the KW v3s on the R60. I saw a video of a guy installing them on, I believe, an E46 M3. He cut a flap in the liner in the trunk that gave him access to the rebound nut on the top of the rear struts. It's not possible on the R60; I'm hoping it is on the E89. What made you go with the HPF FMIC instead of the others available (e.g., Evolution Racewerks or the Dinan)? Genuine question, not rhetorical. |

I cut a small hole in the covering to access the top of the shock to make adjustments. You use a very small allen wrench to make the adjustments so the hole really can't be seen. I wanted to use the stock connections on the FMIC and that is why I went with HPF. |
