My new 35iS

So LONG time M3forum.net member but now I am in the world of the Z4. Purchased this as a late Christmas Present for the Dealer in Zurich, arrives here on Feb 1.

White on Black 2011 35iS with 22.6k KM. Sticker was 109k CHF but picked it up for a great price 54.8k. All options but comfort key (wish i could retrofit)

Looking forward to spring and mountain driving in the alps. Lux Halo upgrade already on the way. Looking at an ESS + Eisenmann sport 90x2 (as race is illegal in Switzerland)

Not yet those are the ones I snapped after the test drive. Due to not have a secure underground parking lot I wont take delivery till Feb 1, which is the day I get a parking spot. 2 1/2 extra weeks of waiting as the car is sitting in Zurich taxed/titled/paid/plates.....

Waiting is the hardest part!

Hi there! Great ride;

The IS exhaust system is quite good. If you like a bit more sound you can mod the exhaust valve (search) and/or replace the secondary cats with a straight pipe (e.g. Milltek).

What's your main reason for replacing the exhaust system? BTW I'm also in a struggle on what to do myself. It might end up being a terrible waste of money.

The main reason is to get a better tone out of 35is, but you are right it is quite good stock. I think the "golf tee" mod is the best way to go, for now. Already dropped 1700 euro on ESS/Lux Halo/smarttop. A "free" exhaust mod will be welcomed, and cant forget stubby antenna which is almost free.
