Rattle from dash

Annoying rattle coming from dash ... at first I though it might be the gauge cluster mount clip (metallic) as reported by several BMW owners. This evening I noticed that the "Trip Odometer Reset Button" is loose and I was wondering if anybody noticed this issue.

I have a slight rattle that seems to come from inside the air vent in the middle of the dash. have not heard a rattle from the trip meter button

Took car for service. Test drove with foreman and issue was acknowledged. They removed the instrument cluster and installed felt tape on vehicle body and on instrument cluster. Foreman test drove the vehicle and didn't find any issues after installing felt tape. I will check in a day or two.

Felt tape experiment didn't work

Only things that work are to either open the roof or turn up the radio. For me, anyway.
