Can you comment on the differences (pros and cons) of this new Z4 versus the previous generation?
For example, some reviews I read indicated that the newer gen's power steering was too heavy on the power assist. |

There's plenty already said of both P's and C's between the models; I concur with most based on experience so far. The 35is delivers a lot more punch than the previously enjoyed 3.0i, and I can attest to the "disconnected" or "artificial" steering aspect under normal driving conditions. Throwing it in "sport" or "sport +" seems to change it up a bit as intended (more driver "feel") but for me personally it's fine in either mode for normal or "spirited" driving (though I tend to drive in "SD" most of the time). The "true enthusiasts" out there will indicate differently of course, but I'm talking about driving a roadster on city streets and highways, not on the track (which would be a different story). But we can't all go on what we read - there's no substitute for hands-on experience to come to own conclusion.

1. So, baby got new shoes today, fresh set of PSS'
2. Take it to BMW b/c, well, they know how to handle expensive wheels, right? 3. Sure enough, one of the wheels got a couple of nice new scratches in it, guess the guy thought it looked too good for a 2011 WTF man? I don't want to hear the service rep say "Oh, yeah, I see. But don't worry, we'll take care of it, will be like new. We'll set up a time when our wheel guy is here." NO. I want to hear, "Thanks for your loyalty, enjoy your new rubber. And don't forget about that survey." Yeah, go ahead, send me the survey, PLEASE! #whatcustomerservice #moretimetowaste /rant On the side, as in prior experience with the E85, she's a different car now on non-RFTs. Thanks to all those who promote PSS' as a solid option.
