Remove headrest?

Does anyone know how to remove the headrest on these seats?

Feeling between the cracks, it’s definitely a separate piece but how to detach it I’m not sure. According to RealEOM it is also two separate pieces. Does anyone know how to remove it?

Never ever thought it might come off.
Would help when removing the seat.

Yes you have to just pull on it upwards really hard. Reveals seat frame pipe upsside down U shaped hoop. like a rollover hoop built into the seat. Really helpful when taking the seat out. Its basically like a grab handle you can pick the seat up from.

Removing the headrest on Z4 seats can vary slightly based on the model year and seat design. Typically, there's a release button or a small hole on the base of the headrest. You might need to press the button or insert a thin tool, like a paperclip, into the hole to release the headrest. Consult your car's manual for specific instructions.
