Z4 35i 2010 and M3 SMG 2009

Hello,

am really surprised yet very happy with the test.

i raced my friend in his M3 5 times from different speeds and the outcome is

0-200 --> Z4 wins hands down ( no launch control )
20 - 200 ---> Z4 wins
40-200 ----> Z4 wins
60-200 ----> tie
80 - 200 ----> tie

anyone tried same?

we wanted to try the same thing today but friend is afraid so he lied he is not up to take his M out of the garage...

Do another test too, i didnt have enough time to.
try to race him but dont let your z4 hit 7k rpm , change gears at 6300 rpm and see if it makes a difference.

Do you mean a 2009 DCT M3? The SMG ended with the previous M3.

yes, and it had a full tank too.

Not unexpected, really. The N54 has more torque and and the 35i is 300 lbs lighter than a M3.
