round trip mate.... technically speaking if i hook up my self to a pee bag and only have liquids, yogurt and protein shakes (while driving) and don't get any sleep, I should be able to drive straight thru without getting out of the car except to put gas and get there in two days (4 round trip)

Yeah, I drive from Calgary to Phoenix in 22 hrs (of driving) but I stop for the night ...I drove to Omaha non-stop once and it is really hard on you, too hard IMO. too easy to crash and burn...

I can get to Zfest in 2 days but I wanted to go touristy on the way down, do the ocean front highway thing etc...

35 hour drive (2,133 Miles from my place). A bit too long for me. What are the dates? Is it a week long?

This weekend I am going to this car show 10 minutes from my house largest one in all of North America .... have a peek.

Would love to attend, but there is the matter of the ocean, but as consolation we did get to spend the day with a few "Z" affectionados at the Hockenheim Ring today...

You mean that big pond? A little water is nothing to fear!

I'm curious how you fared along side your fellow Z3 and Z4 aficionados? Scanning the field I think I saw at least one, but maybe two e89's, and good mix e85's and e86's.

A bit down on power from the 35's, and 3 of the E85/E86's are full AC Schnitzer cars, but way up on handling so I think I upheld the honor of the E89's successfully. I did have to tone it down a bit in difference to my lovely co-pilot [Mrs ChuckB].

Not too concerned about to pond, but rather the lack of Gas Stations anywhere near the Grand banks...

That orange one in front of you looked pretty tough - nice low stance and I liked those black wheels.

So Mrs ChuckB donned her helmet and accompanied you around the 'ring? Gutsy lady!

Yes, you're right about the filling station. What was I thinking that you could get all the way across the Atlantic without at least one fill up.

For those attending the Zfest this weekend, my son and I will be driving up Fri evening and back home Sat evening. Won't be attending any of the dinner gatherings but will be mulling around the car/vendor show and may go on a drive. Hope to see some of you there.

I'm driving up to Toronto this weekend for the air show, did so last year too ... top down was stuck on Lakeshore Drive ... a few people said "Hey nice car (was my Alpine White the one I traded for my now E89) you have the best seat in the house"

I just smiled
