Personalizing my 2009

Decided to start personalizing my car. Getting the cockpit upgraded to "my tastes." Started with pedals. Next step, ZHP shift knob with boot. Waiting on boot to arrive. Will post results once installed. After that, locating the steering wheel spoke covers in black (not carbon fiber). Anyone changed their spokes to black? Found carbon fiber and suede on ebay, but nothing in a black painted plastic or metal. Wondering if the dealer sells the spoke?

Also, attempted a purchase of the all-black grilles on ebay. Failed, they did not fit. Returned and ordered another pair from ECS. Hopefully those should fit.
Cheers!

Never liked the SDrive 3.0 emblems on the fenders of "my car." In the past with emblems, I would use GooGone and a lot of time, and smell, and mess, but never really satisfied with the results and the efforts required.

Watched a video using a drill disk wheel "eraser" that removes the residual glue from paint, unharmed. So I Amazon'd it.

It took about 5 minutes per side to complete and did not scratch the paint. Still a bit more to go to get it perfect, but the results were amazing, to me, on my car.
Sharing my experience.
Cheers.

MRCW Did you also remove the Z4 emblem? What about the orange side markers on the front fender? I just noticed it on mine.

Yes, i took the Z4 off the rear...i wanted to get clear side markers for front fenders but i could not find any. They are unique to Z4. You can get them painted but I am considering Idina white reflective tape. It's a close match to my mineral white paint.

Some z4-s came from factory without z4 badge at the back and sdrive badges at the sides... mine for example...
Vin decoder says i have "S320 Deleted, Model Lettering" option.
