Bought 28i Msport what mods?

Hi All,

I've just bought a Z4 and pick it up this Saturday can't wait!

Ive got the alpine white with black leather and black 19inch 326 alloys

I've already bought a stubby what else is a must?

Also, is it easy to upgrade the satnav system to the latest maps and how much would it cost?

Cheers,

Tony

Congratulations on your new Z!

Stubby is not a must. It looks odd in my eyes and people just do it because it is easy. You need to go total antenna delete or keep it OEM in my opinion.

Updating the maps using USB and password should be easy on your car. Only question is where you buy the map and password... try search.

Getting rid of the OEM RFTs and replacing them with non-RFT tires is a must. So is cat delete, probably, and something like this

congrats on the car. I'd go the other way personally, and get the non RFT then suspension mods/alignment changes after you've had time to get used to the car.

Thanks all.

Always liked the idea of a lip on the trunk/boot lid.

Any recommendations? Looking for something subtle not over the top.

Cant wait now 2 sleeps away!

BMW Stubby or the Honda S2000 antenna works great with our Z4

Since you are in London, you might consider getting non-RFT since they are a little bit forgiving on bumpy roads. I have Michelin Pilot Super Sports on mine and I love it.

Non-runflat tires and I thought things improved a lot when I moved to 245mm square. You don't have to go all the way square but I'd move toward it if I got new wheels and tires.
