2014 Z4 Purchase Prices
I am selling my 2009 35i and am considering a 2014 35is, among a couple other other vehicles.
Has anyone purchased or ordered a 2014 Z4 that is open to discussing their purchase price in relation to discount off MSRP, or in relation to the invoice price? The build I am looking at possibly ordering would a $69,125 MSRP. Edmunds shows an invoice of $63,635. |

+1. Save 7% off the non-optioned cost = finance your trip to Europe and have the experience of a lifetime at BMW Welt.

www.truecar.com is a useful starting point for negotiation because a "truecar certified" dealer will honor the discount shown on the website as a pre-negotiated price
It is suggesting a ~69k MSRP 35is would typically transact for ~65k. For European Delivery, you can get $750 over Euro Delivery invoice price very easily (huge savings). check out www.bmwconfig.com to see the US MSRP, US invoice and European Delivery ("Munich pickup") invoice. As an aside, if you aren't getting the black roof and new style wheels you might want to check out a leftover 2013 instead. Should be some epic discounts available. |

$500 Over Invoice
Hello,
I just ordered a 2014 35is for $500 over invoice. I'm in the Seattle area. I used BMW config to spec out the model I wanted then email dealers on the west coast with the car I wanted and the price I wanted to pay. I asked them to list any additional fees that would apply. I found several dealers who were willing to meet my price, including the dealer closest to me. Now I'm just waiting for production to begin. A few dealers didn't respond at all, and some came back with 1K or 2K off MSRP. Don't worry too much about $$ over invoice or $$ off MSRP, just spec out the car you want, including all fees, and then you will have your 'out the door' price, which is what really matters. Good luck, Let me know if you have any other questions. |

I paid just over invoice for my 2009 35i. It was a launch vehicle, so was one of he first of the new generation Z4's. It was not on the dealers lot moe than 45 days before I purchased it. My gut reaction was that if I could get the car as a brand new model in 2009 just after it was released, for around invoice, they should still be selling for near invoice. You have now confirmed it. The "invoice" I assume you refer to is what we all see on Edmunds.com Those offering $1k or $2k off MSRP are either on crack, or maybe they are just playing the "we'll hi-ball you and see if we get lucky" game. BlueAZ I'm surprised you got your 2009 for so little above invoice. Usually brand new models of very desirable cars get little discount. Case in point, the new vette is selling over msrp. They're not even in the showrooms yet.

Hello, I used BMWconfig.com for invoice/wholesale pricing, but its the same as others (e.g. Edmunds). BMWconfig did have the wrong price for the Cold Weather package (shown more expensive than it is), which a dealer pointed out to me, otherwise everything else was correct. They are not building a lot of the 35is's, so it may take a while to get an allocation. When my dealer was talking too long to get an allocation, I called around to confirm that they are in short supply. You may want to factor that into your pricing if you find a dealer with an open allocation (if you want to order). Keep us posted!!! |

The C7 is a car I am considering, but since all the early adoptors are willing to pay MSRP, or more I may have to wait if that is the car I buy. A couple of the largest Corvette dealers in the US are taking orders at $1000 under MSRP, but that is still too high, in my opinion.
