Sadly, some people would feel better for having those inside the city.
Some loves government control, and police state. More taxes, more regulations, more laws, more enforcement makes them feel better.

"Help! my neighbor has an 8" steak knife! We need to have a city council meeting and make the steak knife less than 4"!! This would be our new city ord!"

They gotta do ANYTHING to prevent the stabbing,,,,right??
