I believe it will be DCT. I was just saying that the current 6 series has the shift knob, but not the DCT.

The new interior looks incredible. they seem to get the Zs right with interiors. even mine has a modern yet classic dash.

I agree the car looks pretty good so far but i dont think the lack of a "real" parking break will deter MOST customers who buy these cars...And who uses an e-break to drift a rwd bmw anyways? If you have any sort of power its all about the scandanavian flick....Your stock e-brake would be gone in about 6 attempts and i can assure you it would not be well controlled at all... Even professional drifters use clutch kicks half the time to get the car rotated...

Is there a possiblilty of a Z4M (with the M3 V8) which is just a 'normal' coupe. I dont want the extra weight of the hardtop convertible but neither do i want the aborted looks of the Z3 coupe.

Looking Forward to the New Z4 at 2008 L.A. Auto Show

Like the way the new Z4 looks with top up - big improvement over current Z4. Like the interior console. Already know I like the 3.0 liter twin-turbo engine from the wife's 335i. Now it's just a matter of seeing how it all comes together at the 2008 L.A. Auto Show.

No M Roadster ... I would've thought the folding metal roof might have helped even out the weight distribution (with the V8 up front).

The M3 V8 weighs less than the outgoing E46 V6 used in the current Z4M.
