X Pipes?

Hi everyone, I purchased a brand new Z4 35is last week. I am looking for a X pipe. So far, I have only seen Super Sprint but they require you to hack up your exhaust system to install. I want something that I can bolt on so when I sell the car in the future, it can be reversed back to stock easily. Any help would be great! Thanks!

Maybe weld some flanges onto the Supersprint?

What is the plan? Do you want to delete the secondary cats?
The ss xpipe retains the sec. cats in place, only the eisenmann exhaust is a solid system that bolts on right after the downpipes.
If you just want to delete the sec. cats why don't you buy a used oem catback and modify it?

welding a flange might be a good idea

i have eisenmann race exhaust but its a bit loud for my liking. the oem 35is exhaust sounds decent but i just want it to be a little louder. i already did the exhaust valve mod. i dont see anyone selling oem catback to purchase from

I was abt to post about the samething...
Ive found this x pipe by supersprint

http://www.supersprint.com/en/prod-c...it_x_pipe.aspx

It seems a legit solid piece. However my question would be, if anybody has this, is it a bolt on part or it requires welding. It would be helpful if you guys could enlight me.

Also I am hoping some sound improvements without changing stock mufflers. Any comments about its sound would be appreciated as well.

I ended up ordering from Milltek. They are direct replacement bolt on.

The part numbers are: MSBM197 and MSBM198

http://milltekexhaust.pumaspeed.co.uk/

do a search for the part number and add them to the cart. it wont show up as an individual part unless you do that

The part finally came in this morning. It was backordered this whole time. I will have the shop install them along with the KW V3, Performance black grill and short antenna.

I finally got it installed. Please go and purchase the clamps from the dealership as well. The original exhaust is one piece all the way to the down pipe so you will need to have a shop cut it up. Most would not want to do it because it is "illegal" to remove them. I had to pay cash and no receipt for this shop to install for me.

Normal cruising is the same. Not any louder. Taking off is slightly louder. If you put the vehicle in sport+ mode, there are a lot of differences. The popping sound during gear changes is a lot louder. You can hear the car backfire louder as well. Overall, I am satisfied with the result. It is good enough for me to drive around in and it wont drive people around me insane.

Here is the clamp (needs 2)

The part installed
