Great looking Z4.

Do you have spacers mounted? Any rubbing?

It΄s a kind of car specific - vinyl - film - foil -(dont know the exact engl. term).

And yes I have installed on the rear axle 10mm spacers on each side, and it is fare from rubbing. Fits perfect. Its the E89 specific version of the 313 BMW performance wheels.

Greetings,
Michael

First of all, I have to say that I think it looks badass! Secondly, I can usually never leave anything alone, so I've done a PS.

Very cool pics.

Somebody else mentioned a colored removable foil on this forum or another one - can't remember exactly. I think it's a German product, costs about $5,000 - $ 10,000 US and they're crazy about over in Dubai or someplace like that. I think it was a gold plated X6 shown on the xBimmers X6 forum.

Did you alter this photo because the car looks shorter? Perhaps a fisheye lens?

.

Hi,
to wrap a car complete with a removable foil΄s cost round about +/- 2000US$. Here is a little catalogue (sorry in german) with different material styls and colors. Even carbon, leather, aluminum and wood structures are possible.

http://www.carcocooning.de/pdf/preisliste.pdf

And yes some of the pictures are taken with a 14mm lens and some optics distortions. I will take some new pictures later after the next changes ...

Greetings,
Michael

That's less than I thought, but I think yours is a different company than the one doing the work in Dubai. Their web site showed a lot of expensive exotics.

Is yours a standard color from the brochure and how long does it take them to apply the film?

It΄s needs 2 days to apply the foil. The gray-tone matt is not an standard foil. It was exclusive produced.

This are my other two projects: M5 black matt and Z4 E85 military.
And here is a list of different foil-car projects.

If it's "E89 specific version", then why are spacers needed?

Good looking wheels, but the photos make them look way too big for the car.
