Wow, this is the first time I actually see another 35i in China!

Tonight I met another qingdaoren on the street with an Orion Silver 23i. He even had the roof down, which is an all-together extremely rare sight in China. Needless to say we immediately became best friends!

How is Jining treating you? I actually passed by that place on my way to Chongqing.

Hey man, I am planning to drive to Beijing in August to pick up my brother at the airport. I might arrive one day in advance to meet you up. But how is it with the rules in Beijing these days?

I know that if your car is not registered with a Beijing license plate, then you can only drive with a special permit or within certain time zones. Perhaps it is no problem if I stay outside the 3rd ring road and just go to the airport? I managed to do that one time before... but I think that was during a weekend.

35i is very rare.
this our club in Jining.
If you just go to the airport and not go downtown Beijing.You do not have access permission.Even if you need it,It is very easy to get.And it's free.Toll station before entering Beijing.I 'm sorry,my Englishi is not very well.

Each way was around 2000 km! Here is the actual avg speed (including Chongqing city driving):
