18" to 19" without mod, anyone?
Hi I'm a newbie here. I just would like to ask if anyone of you has moved from stock 18" to 19" without any mod of the suspension. Will the car get higher, drive significantly harsher?
Mine (23i) has stock style 269 18" rim. Would like to go for style 313 19". Haven't seen it in real life though. Thanks you guys in advance. This forum rocks!! |

the 19's run a lower profile tyre so rolling diam is much the same. no need to alter the suspension. you will notice more road noise and a slightly harsher ride due to the reduced sidewall hight
there is one here http://images.google.com.au/imgres?i...a%3DN%26um%3D1 |

I've got 19" on mine and although i've not compared 18 to 19 side by side. I'd say the 19" are great.
Looks much better than the 18" for sure. get them !! mav. |

The height of stock Z4 is so HIGH,
I just put KW springs (30mm front, 20mm rear) the result is more like a sport car than SUV Euromotive motor in Bangkok, they have in stock just call 029541242 Khun Aut |

I think this will void only the suspension part. But If there is some serious problem you can put stock springs back. From my experience, this is my 9th BMW since 1978, I don't think BMW suspension will have problem before 3 years I will post my update pictures soon, It really looks nice after Z4 gets lower |
