Anyone has problem in receiving delay map address from google map

When I first got the car, I get pretty instant response receiving map directly sent from google map direction address from my laptop to our idrive navigation system. Now, it's take days or never after I sent from my laptop to the car. Does this happen to anyone?

It has happened on occasion to me in my 335. I think there are sometimes issues with the BMW connected drive network and there isn't anything we can do about it.

Another thing to try is to remove the car from your google account and set it up again.

Not days but usually 5 minutes or so. I never had it "instantly" transfer.

Do you mean the "send to car" function?

I called BMW about this before. I was told every time Google does an update it causes a slight hiccup in the system. Most of the times its works with in a few minutes but during updates it takes longer. It is what it is I guess.

In my experience you have to revert back to the old Google maps as the new version doesn't have the "send to car" function

About 5 minutes delay.
Longer if your car was out of cell range upon initial transfer request.

The new google was late to the party, but I believe it has is now. I also downloaded the app on my phone, play store. The send to car app works well.
