Top 5 probs with new Z4's
This one goes to the hard core followers of this forum. I'm going to take my car tomorrow (finally!), based on the posts so far, what do you think are the top 5 reported problems that I should watch out?
Thanks! |

Top problem:
Car is too much fun to drive and is addictive. Only problem I've had is noise from roof sometime when top is up. have not had it in to be fixed. Others have the same issue and have had it fixed. |

Well lets be honest:
1. Chance of high pressure fuel pump problem (sDrive 35i only) 2. Some misc creaks & squeaks (mostly top related). 3. Weak base stereo. 4. Lack of storage space, especially with the top down. Comes with the territory. 5. Beautiful Ivory White interior option but will it stay that way? The verdict is still out. 6. Some have reported M Adjustable suspension issues. I can't think of much else.

If you are taking the car to an automated car wash, instead of washing by hand you ought to be ashamed of yourself.

1) it was damaged in Port by someone and repaired??? this included putting a black sapphire metallic rear view mirror on a jet black car, scraping the front bottom lip badly, and damaged paint on the hood and bumper at one corner;
2) between driving it Euro delivery in Germany for 753 glorious miles with no problems, now the adaptive shock light is on at 754 miles - more damage issues? 3) cannot set Sport setting as default w/o Nav system (I tried via the personal key setting preferences 4) windows will not automatically go up with FOB |

Sorry, like the previous version, the external mirrors do not fold/unfold with the remote, or I didn't find out how. |
