Lowering springs?
anybody have a sdrive28 M-sport with lowered springs on? I have a 2012 sdrive28 M-sport, cant seem to find springs for it. Anyone got the part #? If you have pictures of them on your car feel free to post them here. Here's a pic of my car with my new wheels.

I was looking for something lower too, but for now the only lower springs kit that seems to be suitable for our car is the eibach pro kit (20mm front - 15mm rear)

Nice wheels. Did you try the H&R website? I had to pull the sway bar numbers from there to order from Turner.

Koni just announced suspension kits for the E89. You can probably get H&R from them.

I made my Zet lowered last winter (H+R "sport" springs ie. -15mm down both axles but left OEM adaptive dampers in place).
Feels exceptionally good, a bit stiffer than OEM m-chassis but definitely not uncomfortable due that "adaptive" feature, which I love quite a lot.

Got pics of your car after the springs were installed?
I have a set of H&R Sports but I only want less than an inch drop all around so the plan is to use thick E36 spring pads to offset the drop from the springs.

Any update on how your install went. Curious if you had any fit issues with using the thicker spring pads from the E36 (assume M3 Canada version). Any pics you can share? |

I got the idea from another user on few years ago. He installed a set of H&R Sport springs and I liked the look of his car. It sat perfectly; slight forward rake and almost looks stock to an untrained eye. I PM'd him about it and he told me that the E89 spring pads were the same as E36 ones. When I get around to it I'll update.
