Eisemann Exhaust Video for Z4 35i

If my car wasn't a lease, I'd be tempted....

It does sound good but nothing sounds $2,000 good let alone $3,000, it's just stainless pipe and some mufflers. It's sad the amount of BMW tax that is put on products for our cars. If you had any domestic even a zr1 with a more complicated longer exhaust you would still spend under $1,500. Then there is the $3,000 side skirts for this car, lol.

I wanted the Eisenmann exhaust so I made sure I did not check the Premium package, Premium sound package, or Cold weather (just opt for heated seats alone) when I ordered my car. I didn't feel the need to have auto seats when you really can't recline it back. The base stereo may not be the greatest, but it's not that bad IMHO. The dealership thought that the wind deflector was included for 2010 since my car came with some of the pieces with exception to the mounting brackets/roll bar covers. They automatically ordered the rest of the missing parts and installed it once it came in, as stated on the due bill. Plus the dealership made a mistake and charged me end of 2009 incentives when mine came in as a 2010. $60k MSRP down to $54k. Spent far less than a well equipped 35is with all the mods I've done.

Dinan also made mistake by charging me Stage 1 when the tech programmed for Stage 2 since he noticed I had an oil cooler. When I came back to get Stage 2, two weeks later, that's when they noticed I already had it. They did not charge me for the difference. All in all I got this car for a pretty descent price.

There is a touch more to the exhaust than bending some tube and throwing on a general purpose muffler. I understand some of the complaints about the price, however, if you reference the articles below you will see the r&d that goes into every Eisenmann. If any one has any questions please feel free to PM me or email me at info@ind-distribution.com

Magna flow, Borla and all the big name companies do the same r&d.

I am one of the crazy ones:

Eisenmann (thanks iND)
FMIC (thanks Stett)
Charge pipe with dual diverters (Stett again)
ESS Stage 1 or 2 (thanks Roman)

Maybe a few other goodies in the future but doubt it - we shall see. I blame my wife because after we took ED, she said "I love it but the exhaust sound is too quiet and generally sucks." That led us down this path of stimulating the economy.

I prefer my 35is exhaust which is just nice if you want to keep the noise at a level that is greater than a 35i with a sweeter, more exotic note.

Other than that the only exhaust that would take my fancy for that money is the one from Japan. Sounds fantastic. I can't remember the name but it's loud - I figure if I ever upgrade the exhaust it will be something that makes a statement!

And I agree $2-3k is too much for an exhaust. Also need the carbon fibre diffuser to go with it.
