Perfectly believable. I kept up with a 911 Carrera on the NJ Turnpike with my Lexus IS350, all stock (similar performance to a stock Z435i)
In fact I was slightly faster at some speeds. Above 120 mph he started to pull away a little. He gave me a big thumbs up when he caught up with me at the GWB toll booth! A Z4 w/ JB3 or Dinan should definitely walk a 911 in a straight line. On the track the Porsche would have a slight advantage but only so much, a 911 is no Cayman.
