2010 Changes for the worst.

Looks like the 2010 configurator makes the ivory white interior mandatory for the Mojave exterior. My order goes in two days. I don't think the dealer knows this yet. Anyone know if there is a way to special order a different color interior. Ivory looks nice but I don't think it is worth 2K and all the headaches. Why did BMW change this from 09?

Mojave has always been available only with the ivory white.

Thanks. The configurator I was working on was not U.S. Seems other countrys call the Mojave color, Havana.

Has anyone ever special ordered a different color interior or exterior color combination than standard production? If it is possible I might push for it with BMWNA.

Thanks

Correct, Ivory was the only interior with Mojave in '09.

The actual cost of the Ivory interior is $500 if you count the discount on the sport pkg, plus it includes the extended leather and wood trim costs. Well worth it in my opinion.

I would have strong considered ordering the Mojave/Ivory combo especially after seeing the pics here but went for a Black Sapphire /Ivory model in stock.

I drive with the top down most of the time. 6 weeks and no headaches with the ivory white, in terms of keeping it clean.

I think we'll see very few Mojave Z4's out there so it will be unique, and Ivory White + Mojave is very nice. But for me I would have liked Mojave + Beige Extended Leather.

Regardless, BMW doesn't allow it so it's Deep Sea Blue + Beige Extended Leather for me.

In Hong Kong, the combination of Havana (Mojave) exterior plus Extended white Nappa interior plus Sports seats plus ..... is called "Design Pure White".

Havana paint is ONLY available if you choose this "Design Pure White". That means if you choose Havana, it must come with this white interior pachage, sports seats, etc.

However, choosing extended white Nappa interior does not exclude you from choosing any other colour exterior. For me, I have ordered the "Design Pure White" package, but changed the exterior colour to Deep Sea Blue, as my 3 year-old daughter said she want a "blue car", not a "brown car".

I agree that the cost is more or less the same if you choose all those options separately. That's why I ordered such a package for my DSB.

The current configurator allows me to have Mojave exterior with Coral Red interior. I submitted this to the dealer and did not hear anything about it not being possible. I really hope it is, this is the combination I've been thinking about getting for months now.

I'm aware. I was more curious if anyone has even seen a Mojave/Coral Red combo, for any BMW model. I can't find a single one online. I'm starting to think they either have that combination available as an error online, or I will be the first to order such a color combination.
