Alloy wheel repair?
Hi everyone, I’ve got some light curb rash on all 4 of my style 293 wheels. Most of it has been there since I bought the vehicle but I can’t look at it anymore.
I’m currently living in Atlanta and have seen allot of mobile wheel repair companies out there that fix curb rash. Have any of you got any experience with these kind of repairs? I’m wondering if it’s worth the $125 per wheel I’m being quoted and if the repaint will last or if these repairs start to peel. Looking for any advice on cost, longevity, etc. thanks. |

I've used this kind of service several times and the results are perfect. You won't be able to tell any repair was done.

Used the service multiple times through the dealership. They charge $150 per wheel. I've been very satisfied with results. You can't tell the wheel was ever damaged.

You may want to consider changing colors as well. Many places with refurb and powder coat the wheels for a little bit more. My local bmw repair shop will do it for $185 a wheel.

I have used Wheels America here where I live and another local shop called Straight Wheels. Both did excellent work and the repairs lasted. My experience with these two repair facilities was nothing but honesty all the way around. They set expectations for each repair I took them and delivered.
