Also, the rear tires are Michelin and the fronts are Bridgestone. Is that normal?
You can download the owner's manual from bmw.com. Mixed tires are not normal (ie that's not how they come from the factory) better make sure they are all run flat (or not). Not sure if it matters a lot, but at least you know in case you have a flat in a non-run flat ...

I meant that you should buy these three things to increase horsepower and traction. You'll have so much fun you will forget about rock chips

So did you build that?
Yes, just finished March 14. 1 year 7 months to build.
See the Build at www.TABAircraft.com
That’s why I sold my BMW z3 in 1998. I needed the money to put a down payment on the lake front property to build the house with a garage large enough to house a SeaRey Aircraft and a future BMW z? Now it is complete

Am I reading the specs correctly? ~120hp and max speed of 120mph?

And it is a kit. Never knew those existed.

Where did you get those specs? Searey.com/ Searey Elite 115 Horsepower and Max Cruise Speed 105 mph

I went on wikipedia and flipped through some searey plane specs and saw something similar

So does it feel fast when you accelerate the plane? When you turn are there huge g forces? Or it is sort of a calm peaceful floating situation?

I obviously don't know anything about planes, but was thinking about purchasing a Caterham R400 kit car.. this plane kit is similarly priced, so I wonder if it is the better kind of kit vehicle to get.......

This plane is what they call draggy, it is not a fast plane, its a site seeing plane, not a transportation, get somewhere fast plane. Low and slow (under 2000 feet and under 100 mph) The great thing about this plane is it can land on lakes or calm seas, not just airports. A lot more places to go and see without the trouble of parking at an airport and renting a car. A lake side restaurant and/or park or a secluded beach is more fun than a Airport café.
