ER chargepipe install help. not fitting into oem rubber hose
Hello all,
I need some help, i have recently purchased a ER chargepipe and it seems like while installing the chargepipe onto the the lower intercooler hose with the rubber hose at the end, it doesnt fit well. it seems like its about 1inch shorter and at slight different angle than the oem diverter pipe. Does anybody have any advice on how to get this new ER chargepipe with the OEM intercooler rUbber hose and clamp together? any advice would be great thank you |

I went through the same problem when I had my Z4. To save you some time, the ER CP will only work with their FMIC. I returned mine and bought a Stett CP and it fit perfectly. |

I am not sure if I do, but I promise you that the Stett CP fits perfect. I spent way too many hours with ER that their CP did not fit except with their FMIC and I finally gave up and returned it. I ended up buying a used Stett FMIC and a new CP and never looked back. The Stett FMIC is built specifically for the E89 to take advantage of the extra room that the Z4 has available.
