Another E89 Widebody surfaces

Looks far better than the grey one that was launched by Duke Dynamics a while ago. Needs break upgrade though.

I think you meant to say 'needs BRAKE upgrade' a 'break' upgrade would mean breaking the car apart no?

...and according to the pro drive Facebook page, this IS the duke dynamics bodykit. Perhaps it just looks different in another colour, though the shut line on the bonnet (hood) of this one looks ok vs the original which was a mile out.

Yup. This is the DD kit. It wouldn't shock me if they refined the fitment a little since that first car. Looks good IMO.

Best looking kit I've seen. I would put that on my car.

The side view is odd (in my opinion)
The top looks like it was glued on, stubby and and looks too small as front sharp hood crease cuts across the door slicing the top off and then the rear fender flares reach up to meet the top.
The fender flares looks like the RX7 renderings with the big bolbous fender flares.
I do like the direct front and rear view looks but the side is not for me.
Let the ripping begin.

One thing i noticed is these DD kits seem to force the removal of front and rear parking sensors..shame.

Streets here and parking spots are ridiculously small. Also cars and repairs are insanely expensive. I prefer not to get a 2k scuff mark on the car and censors help.

I can't believe you guys like the wheels... I thought that was the worst part about the look of the car. The fitment/offset is horrible for a car with a wide body kit. If you're going to spend that kind of money and time installing a wide body kit, at least get some kick ass wheels that are wider with a concave offset instead of using spacers :roll eyes:

I agree, also, those style wheels belong on a Merc, not a BMW.

Not to mention, who does a wide bode and stays with stock width tires. My whole reason for wanting a wide body is to put some 315 or 335's on the rear.

Really dislike the side view. Exaggerated fenders throw the whole proportion of the car off. Looks like front and rear fenders are swollen with mumps.
