first scratch

I just wanted to warn everyone.

I just got my first 2 scratches on my z4... Fueling at a chevron gas station. I saw a similar story in another forum. The z4 has beautyful lines but the side panel around the gas filling area is at an angle, if the nozzle at the pump has bare metal... 2 parallel lines.

my friends check the nozzle...

btz, the wood console is scratched ! you can see it when sunny in the cabin, is it something usual with wood ?? any product to "polish" wood ? thanks !

thanks for the warning before I pick up my wife's Z4 - definitely a bad location for the fuel door

?? I guess I don't understand how you're scratching the car. I haven't had any problems in the first 5 tanks full...

The wood & body are lacquer coated and with care the scratches come out easilt....unless of course somebody's bee at them with a sharp instrument (

)

My Basset Hound with size 15 front feet decided to jump up on the back of the car to look in the boot. Stupid mutt brought dirt up on his paws....

A few mins of careful polishing and they came out fine.
