Attention Canucks: HPFP recall
Attention all Canucks: N54, there is a recall on the HPFP, yes Virginia, it is true, there is a Santa Claus.
I stopped by the dealership and asked what was happening and he checked and said : You have one to replace your HPFP and another one for a software upgrade on your ekg module. (? I have it written down somewhere) I just have to run it all past my Dinan guy to see if any of the software flashes will cause me any grief with my remap.

Some much for the "US gas" concept. I wonder who's next?

I'm curious to know your research on the Dinan software remap as I will have to do the same thing if I'm affected by the recall.

Check with the dealer, I think it's the same engine and HPFP...

Is there any pt to changing the hpfp since I understand that it probably isn't a permanent fix? Esp since I haven't experienced any of the hpfp symptoms.

I wouldn't change it if you're not having trouble.
