Re-read my user guide again last night. For MY11, pages in question are 63 through 68 and there is definitely no entry there to turn off this feature.
As I said previously, the only way I've been able to turn it 'off', was to switch to Sport or Sport+ mode. Dave

It worked, activates on/off on the fly, for my MY2011!!!! I guess the Deutschelander technical translators forgot to put this in the English version of the manual. Vive la France. Guess I'll hand write your instructions in my hard copy of the manual for posterity. No more computer aided shift suggestions!
