Happy 2011 all!!

My new 35i M-Bumper arrived and I am having it installed next week. I think it will be a nice change for 2011 and to complete the whole look with the Eisenmann and 3D Design rear end. Next mod will either be BMW performance breaks or Brembo by spring or summer. Other wish list for 2011 are: nice cold air intake and FMIC. After that, I am all set.

Think I'm in love with this car, my friends have been betting that I would only keep this one no more than a year and move on to an M3. I have never spent this much $$ on mods or ever modified any of my previous BMWs. There is something about this little one....It just looks so damn good!!

did my homework and decided on the color combo, will order soon after settling an old credit with my bank.
prices are high, the car I'll order is a 23i with M-Package only and will cost around 80 000 USD!
a similarly configured 35i cost 100 000. do you see why it's taking me that long to finalize my order :-(

Well Holland is more expensive. Fully loaded 35i did cost me 93k €.

On the other hand, it takes me an hour before I am in Germany and can drive full throttle.

shouldn't be available now?!
wish someone with a 2011 BMW can confirm if his RFTs are different from what BMW had been using before.

2011 here. The RFTs don't feel any different ... or better, for that matter.

I read that the latest and greatest Bridgestone Generation III is only available right now in Japan.

TireRack confirmed that they have no clue as to when it would be available in North America or Europe.

I assume BMW now puts Generation II on to new cars (my dealer tells me we can identify what Generation by the date of manufacture after the DOT # on the tire).

My BMW dealer further recommends the Continental RFT over the Bridgestone RFT (I wonder sometimes what he knows and is not telling me).
