Cobb AP3 on the Z

Some revs in the Z. My Z is DCT, so ignore the shift light. I have not customized the gauge layout yet. I see that it hits 330+ torque briefly a few times. Need dyno and custom tune to see how much WHP and torque I can get out of the engine now that it's FBO.

Are you happy with the AP3?

I've been considering one a while but am afraid I won't really notice/need the improvement it gives.

What do you mean by ignoring the shift lights because your car is a DCT?
Any videos of the sound outside the car esp. a flyby...would love to hear it?

I would do some bolt on first before installing the Cobb AP3 so you can install the best OTS map available based on what you have installed. You will definitely feel a difference. Power is more linear depending on what tune you install. These are just revs while in park. While driving I see the torque hit 400+ Need dyno and tune to get the most out of FBO and see how much whp was gained.

Definitely on Cobb AP3, support from Josh D. @ Cobb was outstanding.

The shift light is mainly for manual cars, it shows the driver the optimal time to shift with the light.

Would love to see a dyno. I thought a fbo would be higher numbers. Can you let us know what stage tune and gas you are running? I thought fbo would be in the 450 range. The unit is displaying crank hp, no?

The video was made while I was in park. It does not show HP, I didn't find an option to log HP numbers. My current AP gauge setup shows boost, torque, speed, and air temp.

Just put on some new wheels and PSS tires today and made a short run. I saw the torque numbers hit 500+, spins the tires(maybe because the tires are new) in 1st, after that the PSS really hooks up (when the runflats were on spins tires 1st and 2nd), not sure if the torque numbers is correct without a dyno.

Even with just the N54 "Stage 1" OTS (off the shelf) tune, there is a noticeable difference

Do a highway pull with a friend who has one and you will be sold!
