I know that 2011 production was under 2900 units and 2012 was very close to 2850. Here is the current production total through March 2013. I assume from these numbers that the total production from 2009 and 2010 were similar so the total production to date is under 12,000 units.

Thanx for the find. I did just notice that the sales numbers were North American sales numbers. I did a little more digging and found this article dated Dec. 7, 2010.

I wonder which one of that team is responsible for the shoddy way my car was put together... I'd certainly like a chat with them as its taken 2years to fix what they did to it!! lol

The "TEAM" member cannot be seen in the picture. He is sleeping behind the wheel.

It would be really nice if there was an IS registry as there is an M registry, since the IS is in thought and intention (and driving - hot damn!) an "M" car.
I just placed an order for my IS today, would love to know how many are out there and how unique my options/colors/etc are. |

Congrats on the new IS. Closest to the M series you can get in the Z series. Send some pictures when you get it.

Since the chart doesn't break down E85 vs E89, assume everything 2009 MY+ is E89. If so, that means 14,181 E89s in the US (so far). If 5% were ISs, that would be 709 cars. I'm venturing less that 5% are ISs. Kind of amazing. |
