Emergency brake manual release
The problems continue. Electrical system failed on the way to Flagstaff, looks like bad alternator, when I open the shift cover to manually release the brake , there is no Allen wrench hole to remove to access a bolt, there is a slight depression but it's just another piece of plastic. I don't see anything that looks removable to access a nut or bolt. Any ideas? Will make getting the car on the flatbed easier.

if it is a dead battery, just get a set of jumper cables on it and release the parking brake normally.

The car dies pretty quickly. I'll try to keep it running long enough to keep it in neutral to get it on the flatbed. A dead alternator won't charge the battery, so I probably have to run it off a portable jumper box, if possible.
