I personally like lighter color wheels silver-alloy or machine finished, but if I had to choose between the the two dark ones, I would go with gun metal.

Black rims make cars look as if they have no rims from a distance. I prefer to see the design.

dark wheels with black body does give a stealth appearance but not sure how it would appears on z4. afterall, i don't wish to ruined this gorgeous ride.
So far i've only seen a photo of black on dark color wheels, or anyone could kindly help to photoshop say 296 style wheels in gunmetal or black color?

That looks good because of the chrome surrounds. I personally don't like all black rims on a dark car.

Same here. Since this is an "opinion" thread, I really hate the look of black rims. Really. Can we all just admit that this is a fad that needs to stop.

im with you on this.. I think its actually tired already. everyone says the same thing,,, nasty, sinister.. I just think it makes the car look dirty and less dramatic. Nothing nicer than a black car with great polished wheels. But those all black just take away from the looks of the z4, which is more of a classic roadster look, not a boy racer look.

Since we're on the subject of rims, does anyone know what the stock rims are on the 35is? I seem to remember they were upgraded from the 35i?
