Whoever that is seems faster than Micheal Bader.
This guy in the porsche really doesn't want Micheal to pass. Start at 1 hour 4 min for the best part of this video. |

No, this car has been optimized by "Schmickler Performance" a german racing team which is not only racing but also is specialized in optimizing Z4 E89.
As far as I know, that Z4 in the video has springs (Eibach) and sway bars (H&R) changed, a new suspension setup (camber, cast etc.) and a new mapping. Driver is Marcus Schmickler, a pro race driver. Same setup like mine, just I did not do the mapping. |

They have three stages of tuning:
V1: Just optimization of the power distribution characteristics, 5 HP more and removal of the vmax limit. No changes on hardware. V2: V1 plus additional cooler, 370 HP. V3: V2 plus individual mapping of the ecu, 390 HP+ I know that Marcus car currently has V3, but I have no idea what the status was during the video. |
