100%%% worth it. no question

they wanted 1k i brought it down to 771 (still a little high) but I know it'll be used a lot

basically they'll cover anything that goes wrong, flat nail bubble crack whatever

BMW insurance has been great so far.

Replaced 6 tires in 18 months.

Covers wheels. No hassle at dealer.

Insurance is a must

I guess 19" wheels and run flats scare the insurance company

you bought it from the dealer?
NY dealers sell it for 1200 + tax, way too high for 2 yrs

I bought mine from the dealer I got the car in Pittsburgh, pa but live in jersey.

I priced out my local dealer and they wanted 1,100 plus tax so I went with the dealer I got the car from at 950 plus tax for 2 years.

Are you sure?

I have a BMW wheel and tire protection flyer that shows it's offered by safe guard.

I thought safe guard provided all BMW wheel and tire protection services sold by the dealer.

What is actually covered under the Dealer's Tire and Wheels insurance? So if I go drifting and power sliding every other week. This is covered? lol

yes, i spoke to their rep. the dealer has to have service agreement with them, so each individual dealer is separate.

road hazard damage(bubbles, nails, cracked or dented rim..etc; wear and tear are not.

I got it from the dealer I purchased the car from sewickley BMW in Pittsburgh,pa.

My local dealer also sells it flemington BMW.

How long have you had your car?

I think that you have to purchase the insurance at the time of the car purchase either a new BMW or CPO.

my car is still in production, i know so i want to find a place to buy it once it arrives. i got in BMW of bloomfield in NJ and they dont have it.
Do you know if i can get it from another bmw dealer?

I was told that BMW insures the tires and that insurance must be purchased at the time of delivery.
I would call BMW to verify

I've had some issues with my tires where it wore down the inside edge only due to either an alignment or other issue and according to the sales guy that I leased the car from the tire and wheel insurance still wouldn't have covered that. I'd check the details very carefully for what is and isn't covered before getting it.

I just had it serviced a few weeks ago and nobody at the service center noticed this nor anything 6 months ago when it was back for a oil change and software update. So now I'm out $850 for two new rears and hand the car back in 6 months.

i know this and it is true, but what im saying is, if i can not get it at a dealer that i bought the car from can i get it through another bmw dealer

Pics look like mine. It's under inflation that does this. In my case from cracked 296s!

Yes you can get it from another BMW dealer as Long as it's set up to start the day you get your car.

that depends how the roads are where you live and also how u drive.

since all z4 tires are very low profile it would be a good precaution to have. especially since after 2 tires you already got way over what you paid for it
