BTW, the M3 may have less torque, but the 414HP, V8, 8300 RPM, and gearing ratio sure makes up for it. Even though the Z4 has a Dinan Stage 2 tune, the M3 still feels more powerful when pushing it hard. Especially when you push the M button. Plus the Z4's torque tends to fade once you get into the higher revs. The M3's power seems endless as you rev towards 8300 rpm.

You nailed it! And I'm sure the forthcoming M3 will be even better and bit more fuel efficient. It's all good. Now I can save my $$ for the i8.
