"Roadsterbag" Luggage

Did a week-long road trip last week, logged over 1600 miles, from upstate SC, down west coast of Florida to Naples, then across to Weston, traveled up east coast back to SC. Had stops in Bayonet Point (Mother lives here), Clearwater Beach (attended wedding, good friend's daughter), Bonita Springs (friends from the midwest), and West Palm Beach (brother and sister in law). Used our "Roadsterbag" luggage, which very nicely accommodated wife and I for our week-long travel. Was even able to lay my suit for wedding across top of luggage, still permitting the cargo partition to be lowered into place for top-down driving.

That's good to hear. I haven't used mine yet but I'm looking forward to it.

I just got a car cover that I do not plan to use except as insurance against a top failure in a rain storm. I haven played around with it much but I'm concerned that there won't be enough room for both the luggage and the top. The cover is bundled roughly 10 x 15 x 30.
I haven't unpacked it yet because I'm afraid it will never be that size again once unpacked.

With a 10x15x30 bundle, you might have to displace one "roadsterbag," so pack one bag and place car cover next to it.

I may try to refold it to try to line the bottom of the trunk under the luggage.

If you could fold to lay in well in place of the third small "roadsterbag," that may work for you. Good Luck

Hello, BarrowJon!
Thanks for the review.
I am planing a 10-day vacation on a Z4 2009 in Bavaria, Switzerland, Elsass and Luxembourg. I wonder if you could tell me the dimensions of one suitcase from the "Roadsterbag" set. Just the WxLxH measures.

I have plenty of standard suitcases at home and would need to know which of them suits the Z4 boot. The car will be for rent this time, so there is no point of buying the "Roadsterbag" set for now

Thank you in advance

Two standard (22" x 14" x 9") aircraft carry ons fit very nicely under the cargo partition. There is even room to stuff a small backpack and a jacket around them. My wife and I took a 5000 mile, month long road trip this way.

and the top still retracts.............

One of the gifts my dealer gave me on delivery was a BMW trolley bag hand luggage (the wheels on it look cool - like real rims haha). It fits perfectly into the rear of the boot even with the top down. Then I can simply put my other wheeled hand luggage in front of it.
