Rear window clean

Anybody have an easy way to get to the interior of the rear window to clean it?

I usually raise the top halfway up to get better access to the glass.

I thought of that but I read somewhere in the manual that BMW does not recommend stopping the top part of the way.

Stopping it half way is also what I do - depending on how close to the balance point you get, it may stay, but usually tries to move one way or the other as the pump back pressure drops, but it's pretty easy to manage it.

This movement creates pinch points - guessing that is why they don't recommend it. Not sure there is much other way to get to the window with the tall rollover bars

I would not recommend stopping the roof halfway. The reason I say this is that when I bought my car, the dealer thought it looked cool with the roof half open. Well when I wanted to take it for a test drive guess what? The roof would not operate. They had to hook it up to a computer to override the sensors to make it move.
