19" rims same size front/back?

Since the rear and front tyres on the 19" rims are different sizes i was just wondering if the rims are the same size or different?

planning to get some new rims and a friend brought this up and i wasn't sure.

Great link, Moo.

The Rears are 1 inch thicker/wider along the tread compared to the Fronts.

And do you think it would be a problem if the wheels are all the same size? I have 4 equal rims in my z4 and it is the same. Only the tires are different sizes front/back.

What size do you have all around? 245? Or the stock 225?

The OEM 17s (also their snow wheels) style 290 is a squared set-up (front and rear being equal in size) and they run 225 all around.

Honestly, we can't tell you if it will work or not without exact specs of the wheels + tires. Although, trying to fit different tires on identical wheels you'll most likely either have at least one set with some stretch or meaty tires.
