If you get that luggage set there's a 3rd bag that fits the Roadster Solutions windscreen perfectly, installing at Welt was a snap.

Honestly, there are so many bells ans whistles on this thing that I don't ever use i wouldn't sweat the upgrades. Nav is handy, premium audio is ok.. the rest.. eh. All that matters is that drive up to Paradise or 101 on the Peninsula winding through those canyon roads with the top down listening to the turbos spool and the "burble" of that exhaust. Heaven on earth.

My dealer (Ron Hansen with BMW Northwest) came through. The deal is done and we have an appt in munich to pick up a bouncy, fast, alpine white 34is with extended walnut leather. 4 June, 0910

It's snowed about 4-5" since last night, so the thoughts of picking her up and driving into warm and sunny Italy is comforting.

Time to order some luggage and a windscreen (probably go with the clear glass from roadster solutions).

I'd really like to understand the difference in the engine between the "i" and "is". Is it just remapped or are there phyical changes too?

I believe there are additional oil and water coolers, and the exhaust is modified. Those are in addition to the re-map.

Interesting thread. I ordered the 35is and will get delivery upon my return from Iraq in June.
