realistically no
unlike the turbo 2.0 and 2.8 which can be just chipped with great success the 6 cylinders can't
you could spend a lot of money on filter etc but the gain would be unnoticeable in real world driving IMHO

Yes, agreed. Is NA, if you have money to spend, buy a 28i or 35i.

Please guys if you don't have any suggestions on the above matter there is no need to say: buy the sdrive20i or the sdrive bla bla, it is really annoying. The question was clear.

Of course you can give your baby some extra power. You can take it for an ECU remapping (10-15hp gain), you can also buy from supersprint the full exhaust system (plus 10hp approx). For me it is ideal if you can afford the cost and combine them. By the way have fun with your new baby!

Thanks for your opinion, but I disagree. My comment may have been short, but it is valid and sensible.

Your suggestion may increase BHP by around 20HP, that will be virtually unnoticeable considering the money spent doing it. If the OP is going to spend a lot of money trying to get more power, it would make sense to trade the car to something more powerful which is a much better use of the money surely?

Thanks for your reply but please note that there are people who love THEIR own cars and they DONT want to trade them.

Sounds to me like you're the one speaking for the OP here. My reply wasn't intended for you, it was for the OP.

Good man lol

I accept what you mean, some people don't want to change cars. Fair enough. But if you want more power and you can't really get it from the car you have, then what's the best thing to do.. get a more powerful car! I stand by my first post, it may have been short, but it was valid. I never said anything about people wanting to keep their car, you started that.

to clarify things for the OP:
enjoy the car as it is, as there is only a little extra to be gained from modding and it will cost a lot to do it
if you really really decide you need more power and become dissatisfied with the car then your best bet is to change it for a more powerful one. this would be a financial move based on cost

I know how you feel, my 35i feels underpowered as well.

How much are Ducatis where you live? That would be a great solution rather than modifying the 23i

I think you will feel the 10whp/10wtq from this 20 minute $280 US investment.
