Other than custom OSS/Umnitza/LS3 rings, I am not sure we'll ever find anything as good as the LCI stuff.

i got a 2012 335i coupe this past week to drive while they service my car. I paid close attention to the rings and each ring has its own separate power source feeding from the bottom of the ring. i guess thats why they are evenly bright

I tried these http://www.burgertuning.com/BMW_LED_angel_eyes.html but ended up putting the LUX back on. They are not as bright as LUX. They are only bright on the center rings, the outer rings are hardly noticeable in day light. With LUX, they seem almost even.
Here is a comparison pic: Left - LUX v3 Middle - Stock Right - Burgertuning

That's the problem...
For what i have seen in different pics and - once - in person, the HID solution is too bright, at least for the inner, directly fed, ring. The result is a “bobbling spot” (inner) and a “nice ring” (outer). On the contrary the LEDs are able to maintain the much more attractive “twin rings geometry”, but result in a loss of visibility in direct light conditions.

Looks good! Are those the same as BMW-HALO-S7? http://store.ijdmtoy.com/BMW-1-3-5-7-Series-X5-X6-Headlights-LED-Angel-Eyes-p/led_bmw_halo_s7.htm Was it hard to get the LED to properly line up with the light tube opening? |

The first time I tried the Rt side, it did not go it. I thought they were the wrong ones for the car. I researched, read and watched some install videos and went out the next morning and installed the Rt side in seconds. I tried the lt side and it would not go in. After trying several times, I noticed that the LED's were damaged. It may be that it was damaged and shipped out that way and that is the one that wouldn't go in the rt side the first time. I sent ot back and am awaiting the new one. That is why my pictue shows a stock yellow one on the lt side and a nice bright white one on the rt side. It looks like the new one will be here on Monday and I can install it. |

I finally received the http://store.ijdmtoy.com/328i-335i-5...-p/sku-s10.htm and I can say it was worth the wait. Quick and simple install with bright white halo's.
OEM on the left side as you are looking at it and upgrade on the right side. Both sides upgraded A closer view of the brighter white color. |

Guys, semi-related topic..
What are the inside lines (the ones closer to the grill) supposed to do? I've had my car for 4 months now and I've never seen them turn on. I thought they would be cornering lights like in the LCI E90 or "flash to pass lights" like on the pre-LCI E90 but this doesn't seem to be the case. |

It has never turned on in the 4 months I've owned the car. The HIDs, coronas, turn signals etc work as expected but the inner set of projector headlights are always dark |

The install pictures on ijdmtoy leaves a lot to be desired. Anyone have better install pictures, or maybe even a video? For example, how do I remove the stock bulb? It sits like a stone. How do I loosen it? I don't want to break anything.
