Matte White Z

Getting ready to wrap up the Z up next week. It's going to be matte white. Not as distinct as gray or black but the look grew on me. I looked around the net but couldn't find another z in matte white. I may be the first, maybe for a good reason

What do you guys think?

I'm not sure I really understand the point, but to each his own. I wonder how the wrap would faire with constantly opening and closing the top.

My guess is it'll be fine because the paint doesn't really touch anything that would affect or scratch it so I don't see a reason why the vynil would be affected.

It'll be interesting, matte white is difficult to capture in pics well so please post as much as you can. Looking forward to it.

anyone knows how much wrap like this would cost? not that I would do it, just curious.
I'm guessing that it also requires extra care and attention for cleaning and maintaining?

I think maintaining it is easier too, just wash and dry, no wax or polish needed. Since it's protecting the paint underneath, I certainly am not going to baby the car much if I had a vynil wrap.

Not a fan of matte finish. I like my car to be clean. Once or twice a week I just use some detail spray to clean it up. With matte you have to wash it. I prefer shine but to each his own.

Hmm, these pix are quite good. I used to think that matte is nasty, probably because I've only seen matte black.

Is the finish still smooth to the touch?

My opinion would be that it would take away from the classic lines of the Z4 ... then it's all a matter of taste.

I once parked my AW besides a matte grey at a dealership and would never drive the matte one home then as I said it's a matter of taste.
