now I change back to oem intake. The rpm still drops to 300 to 400 (almost stall) when I stop at the traffic light. Should I take it to dealer with all the error codes or should I just reset everything with BT tools and wait to see if they will pop up again?

More problems.

1. Roof start leaking during the rain
2. 1 of the AE out
3. 1 of the window will automatically roll down when I want it up

What a great day for me.

Feel for your brother, that grupe m intake that you adapted to the Z, did it have a filter since you adapted it to the Z? Just curious. If there was no filter it could have sucked in something detrimental to the engine. Man that's alot of gremlins that suddenly shows up. I don't think an intake alone does that, but I can be wrong.

yes, it does have the filter. The car felt like too much air sucked in, just like running without the airbox.

And yes, those are not caused by the intake itself. Especially the roof leaking, window issue and AE burn out. hahahaha.

My car idled low like that too. Took it to BMW and they replaced all my injectors under warranty. I think it's a common problem. Not sure what to tell you about the roof.

got the car back from dealer.

1. They updated the software according to TSB to fix the stall and low RPM problem, also raise the idle RPM 100 higher

2. recharged the battery and re-initiated the window to fix the window auto down to 1/3 position (they recharge my battery twice within 3 months)

3. Changed out the h8 bulb for AE

4. found intake elbow clamp not tight enough, caused fuel mixer #1 & #2 error, re-tight (I think that's bs, I checked it twice before I send my car in)

5. transmission error due to low voltage

6. cluster error due to low voltage

7. performed ultrasonic test on the roof, can't find the leak...

8. can't find what's wrong with auto headlight leveling sensor, re-adjust to the spec

They gave me 4 pages long description for this service, including change out my micro filter and brake fluid.

I have bad feeling about that battery, because this car been sitting in the lot for more than 3 months before they sell it to me. We will see if more error will pop up within few weeks.

They gave me a loaner with almost empty tank, and asked me to bring it back with same level, which is impossible. When I return the loaner 4 days later, I gave them more than half tank.

SA is great, not sure about any others.

I would replace my battery if it is giving you problems. You can buy them at costco or Walmart for under a hundred bucks. Might save you a lot of problems later on.

SA said if the battery give me problem one more time, they will replace it for me under warranty. So I will use that $100 for some beers just for now. hahaha.

Did they check out the headlight leveling sensors attached to the suspension?

the roof shouldn't leak, that should be fixed for sure. I am able to take my car into high pressure spray "touchless" car washes without any issues

On paper, they didn't mention to check the sensor. But they told me verbally the sensor was checked.
