M Sport suspension & Adaptive M running gear?

hi guys, i am new to this forum. I am about to decide Z4 23i with M sport edition. But this package has offered M sport suspension, where the optional still provides the Adaptive M running gear. Then it puzzle me on what difference they are? coz i thought the Adaptive M will tune the car suspension when at a certain speed. So, if the car already come with M suspension, why should I care this Adaptive M OR why should BMW still offer the Adaptve M as an option?

M Sport suspension is just standard suspension with a different set up. Adaptive M sits 10mm lower and is also altered using the Normal, Sport, Sport+ button. These buttons do not have any suspension effects on non Adaptive cars, just throttle and steering responses.

Hope this helps.
