Isn't it just Z4 sDrive 23i, 30i, 35i, 35is? How come some ppl like to put the "." in there, e.g. 3.5i? Where did that come from?

The previous designations had a dot, e.g., 3.0si

The early zeds were 2.8, 3.0 etc so I think it's a habit caused by thinking it's engine displacement. I do(did) the same .....
